We probably have pickup and/or bridge covers to fit this for additional cost. For this money you might expect a bass that's somewhat lackluster in tone but this bass is actually lively and sounds excellent.
Cosmetically, youll note a small area where the finish flaked off but theres no deep worming in the area, just light scratches.
Additionally, there are a number of small finish chips on the top edge.
In live mode, the 1/4" outputs are intended to feed a guitar amp, and there is no speaker simulation added to the patches. In studio mode, the analog and digital outputs feature speaker simulation. Just 5 and includes original box, manual, and CD.
Conversely, the XLR outs do feature speaker simulation in live mode, as it's assumed the signals will be routed to a P. At home on stage or studio and heard on more recordings in the past few years than probably any other preamp. The good news is that it looks very presentable and the frets are factory original and nearly perfect. For tone, playability, comfort, and looks, this model beats a Les Paul Standard with weight relief and most purists will gravitate to this one every time, especially considering this one's 8 lbs 3 oz without weight relief. Perhaps the best rock bassist of his generation, Flea from the Chili Peppers has authorized this signature model based on his own '61 Fender Jazz Bass down to the faded Shell Pink finish, of which his is thought to be the only original '61 Shell Pink in existence.Includes original Rick case in similarly nice shape.
